I was inspired by the Kelly Smith image that I posted a couple days ago, so I decided to throw in a couple more fashion illustrations. David Downton is an amazing illustrator who became known for his fashion work in 1996.
Interestingly, Downton has his models actually sit for his portrait work. In this day and age traditional portrait painting seems to be a lost art. That kind of spontaneity really adds life to his images.
