Runway Request for Newbies

I have had a request that I write about tips for the runway. First of all I want to make it very clear that runway in Cincinnati, and runway in other markets are completely different. I will focus on Cincinnati, because this is where I teach and most of my models reading this are in Cincy. Also, those of you that are reading this from NY, or traveling I'm sure could write this on your own as well as showing us whats up - So I will spare you ; )

I think the most important steps to being a runway model in Cincinnati begin with confidence and practice. Make sure you are amazing at walking in your heels. Do not try to emulate high fashion runway shows. This is Cincinnati! They just want to see you looking cute, smiling, and throwing in a couple flirty moves here and there to spice things up.

I always made sure that I had a very high energy level. The easiest way to do that is to have fun! Don't take yourself too seriously and get along with everyone. I know that sounds cheesy but it will make your life easier when you are sitting around for hours waiting for the show to begin.

Below are a couple shots of me on the runway\before the show.

(Yep, thats me wit the big hair\Fro)
